VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists

Introducing the Premier Orthopedic Veterinarian in the Pacific Northwest and His Dedicated Team

Dr. Scott Lozier, DVM, DACVS, widely regarded as the top orthopedic veterinarian in the Pacific Northwest. Rocket, one of the Pawcasso dogs, presented a unique challenge for Dr. Lozier due to her diagnosis of Evan’s Syndrome, a complex autoimmune condition. Her knee surgery was a meticulous, year-long endeavor, reflecting Dr. Lozier’s expertise and commitment. The outcome? An outstanding success, restoring Rocket’s mobility and quality of life.

Oregon Specialty Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Robert T. Franklin, DVM

We feel incredibly fortunate to have partnered with Dr. Franklin since 2022. His exceptional expertise in canine autoimmune disorders—navigating their many complexities to pinpoint precise diagnoses—is truly remarkable. Dr. Franklin’s skill has been life-changing for several of our rescue dogs, correcting misdiagnoses from a previous veterinarian we no longer consult and ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
